Our Discipline-specific Training Plans

Our Discipline Specific Targeted Training plans are a great stepping stone into our Coaching Packages. These plans will guarantee you become a stronger, fitter and faster rider in no time.

These Training PLANS deliver dynamic workouts across all disciplines while fitting within your schedule, whatever your ability level.



MTB:

This 12-week program is designed for cross-country racers looking to improve their fitness. The workouts are designed to improve your ability for off-road racing. We begin with some leg-speed and cycling-specific strength development, then progress to build aerobic endurance before adding intervals at and above your lactate threshold. Perfect preparation towards an XC event with that Hilly Terrain in Mind.


CYCLOCROSS:

This 8-week program helps improve your CX fitness & skills. This training plan is designed with options for both Beginner & intermediate riders to prepare for the short but intense Cyclocross season.


TIME TRIAL:

A 12-week program targeting Time Trial Fitness. These training plans are built to help you prepare for a TT up 25 miles on a flat course, focussing on maintaining maximum power over the required Distance.


GRAVEL RACING:

In this ever-popular discipline, we have a 12-week program focusing on core fitness and skills to help you become a better gravel rider. This program is designed in such a way as to help you build endurance and explosive power for a long-distance event on hilly terrain.


ROAD CRIT/CIRCUIT RACING:

A 12-week program targeting a specific Criterium event. This training plan prepares you for the high demands of crit racing. With workouts that build sprint power and emphasize anaerobic power and aerobic capacity, the criterium block builds the fitness you need. Not forgetting improving skills required on a tight road circuit course, REMEMBER ATTACK, RECOVER, SPRINT, REPEAT!


STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING:

Through years of experience, Our Strength & Conditioning program will guide you over 12 weeks through a process of getting familiar with the technique of exercises, Development of movement patterns, connecting with your body, and working out some imbalances to a place where you will be executing more explosive exercises. Our S&C Program has delivered result after result and is an important part of all our Sports Coaching delivered to you using the TRAIN HEROIC APP, included as part of the program.

Your workouts are delivered via Training Peaks, an innovative platform allowing athletes to plan their training precisely and easily.

CYCLING ONLINE COACHING & SQUAD MEMBERSHIP:

Our online squad membership will go beyond sending you a training plan and wishing you all the best.

As an online squad member, we will maintain close contact through face time, email and message as regularly as required to ensure you are on track with your training.

We want you to be every part a member of our Online community; the only element you won’t get will be the squad training sessions unless you can make it to Guernsey every week.

As a valued squad member, once you have some spare time in your calendar and would like a week Cycling up and down the climbs around by our idyllic bays and on the flat well tarmacked roads. If not Road why not go off-road, we have the beautiful flowing coastal paths perfect to practice your MTB, Gravel or CX Skills. We will welcome you to Guernsey to join us at no extra cost.
